UPC launches HD channels in Romania

Liberty Global-owned cable operator UPC has launched a high definition service in Romania.
UPC Romania has launched the service with five channels including Pro TV HD, TVR HD, Eurosport HD, History HD and Fashion TV HD. The service is being offered to customers alongside its digital video recorder for RON15 (3.50) per month.
