Duroux starting at TF1 in mid-September

¨TF1’s new managing director, Axel Duroux starts in his new role at the French broadcaster on September 14.

The appointment of Duroux sparked controversy earlier this year with former employers RTL reportedly considering legal action against TF1 at one point. The company was unhappy that a potential conflict of interest had not been reported ahead of Duroux notifying them of his move to TF1. Duroux was previously at RTL’s French operation and on the RTL supervisory board.
