ADB launches Tivù box

Set-top box vendor ADB has launched an interactive digital set-top for new Italian free-to-air DTH service TivùSat.

The i-CAN1110SH has two smart-card slots and supports interactive applications via embedded MHP middleware. It provides a parental control application together with HDMI connectivity as well as providing TivùSat’s official seven-day EPG.

TivùSat is jointly owned by Italian broadcasters Rai, Mediaset and Telecom Italia Media.
