Virgin Media names Rose as television chief

UK cable operator Virgin Media has named Cindy Rose as executive director of television.

Rose, who will director Virgin Media’s TV strategy, including development of its control platform and video-on-demand service, was previously senior vice-president and managing director, Disney Interactive Media Group EMEA.
