ESOA appoints Bausch as chairman

The board of the European Satellite Operators Association (ESOA) has elected Romain Bausch, CEO and chairman of SES, as chairman.

Bausch, who joined SES in 1995, will succeed Giuliano Berretta, CEO of Eutelsat. Christodoulos Protopapas, CEO of HellasSat was elected vice-chairman of the board.

ESOA aims to identify issues relevant to EU policy objectives, bringing them to the attention of policy-makers, and safeguarding the regulatory environment needed to deliver them.
