Cablecom names Tveter as managing director

Swiss cable operator Cablecom, owned by Liberty Global, has named former Telewest president Eric Tveter as its new managing director.

Tveter, who has also held management positions at Time Warner Cable, Comcast and Cablevision in the US, is currently a non-executive board member of Open TV.
