Ofcom: BT most complained about pay TV service in the UK
BT was the most complained about pay TV service provider in the UK during the fourth quarter of 2015, according to new research by Ofcom.
The UK broadcast regulator said that BT received 15 complaints for every 100,000 pay TV customers in the quarter, compared to an industry average of just four.
TalkTalk was the second most complained about pay TV provider with 14 complaints per 100,000 users, followed by Virgin Media with three complaints per 100,000 and Sky with one complaint.
“Complaints about BT mainly related to issues around fault, service, or provision; issues around billing, pricing and charges; and complaints handling,” said Ofcom.
“TalkTalk also generated relative complaint volumes above the industry average. Sky received the lowest relative complaint volumes compared to the other pay TV providers that we report on.”
