E! Entertainment launching in Russia

Celebrity gossip and entertainment channel E! Entertainment Television is launching in Russia and the CIS region.

The network will go live in the second quarter of 2014, according to Satpal Brainch, executive VP and managing director of E! channel operator Universal Networks International.

Programming will include Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Fashion Police and new series #Rich Kids of Beverly Hills.

Further details – such as which operators will carry the pay TV channel – will follow in coming weeks.

Entertainment Television is a core channel brand for Universal Networks International and the launch of the brand in Russia and the CIS is an exciting development for both the channel and our business in these markets,” said Brainch. “We look forward to the channel resonating with viewers and advertisers across the region.”

E! currently broadcasts in 150 territories and in 26 languages.
